Hipp the Hippopotamus by M. Dawn
This is a story about a Hippopotamus who wants a friend. He tries to play with all different kinds of animals, but none of them really pay attention to him. He finally sees a family of hippopotami and becomes friends with them.
It is a really cute children’s story that everyone can enjoy. The pictures look like they are hand drawn with colored pencils, but they are really good. They go along with the story great. My only complaint is that there really was not a lesson or moral to this story, which I think children’s books need. They did talk about different kids of animals though, so it is somewhat educational.
