My Review:
This was an interesting book. After reading the synopsis, I thought I would love it. It sounds like my type of book. While there were parts of the book that I really enjoyed, there were other parts that I didn’t.
I like that this book puts such a large emphasis on friendship. It was cool to see each character’s relationships and how they intertwined. However, a lot of this felt very repetitive. Toni spend most of the book trying to figure out how to stay friends with the guys. I got tired of it after a while.
I like the Rent-A-Gent idea. I think it is creative, and a fun idea for a book. That part of the book was very interesting and enjoyable. I also liked the real romance aspects of this book. Although, I felt like it took too long for it to be developed. It seemed to drag on and on.
Overall, I was not a huge fan of this book. However, it is a fun read for younger teens. I would recommend it to anyone who likes stories about friendship.
