The Billionaire’s Fake Fiancé by Annika Martin

Fake dating/fake engagement is one of my favorite tropes in books, and this one was no exception! This is a really sweet and steamy romantic comedy with a little bit of mystery woven in. You could really feel the chemistry between the characters, and I loved their flirty banter. The steamy scenes were incredibly hot as well! The mystery woven into the storyline added a little bit more to the plot. While I love a good romantic suspense, this was much lighter than most. There were a lot of humorous aspects to this part of the plot, and Tabitha kept comparing it to the soap operas that she watched.

I loved that this story was told from both Tabitha and Rex’s perspectives because we got to see how both of them were feeling. The chapters and perspectives often changed in the middle of a scene, but it was done so seamlessly that it really added to the book. It allowed us to see the same scene from both perspectives, and how it affected that character.

This is the first book I have read by Annika Martin, but it definitely won’t be the last! I am now a fan, and am looking forward to reading more of her work.
