The Bet Review

The Bet is the first standalone book in the new Winslow Brothers series. Jude is a club promoter and lives the bachelor life. He loves women, but only for fun. He is not a relationship guy. One night he takes a bet with a male stripper that he can do a better job. He ends up stripping for Belle’s bachelorette party. However, Sophie is dressed as her twin Belle because Belle was too shy and nervous for a stripper. Sophie and Jude have a steamy moment, and then part ways. They continue to accidentally run into each other and start a fling. Things get complicated when Jude starts sending Sophie mixed signals. 

I loved the family aspect! Both Jude and Sophie are very close with their siblings. I loved how supportive their siblings were while also telling them like it is. There was lots of witty banter between them all as well. 

Jude falls for Sophie, but is so clueless to it. I loved that Sophie made Jude work to win her back. This was a steamy, funny book that I would definitely recommend!
