Goodreads Summary:
Some women are bad. Some women are a bad idea. The best ones are both…
A former Black Ops assassin, “Lucky” Landon has had more near-misses than a man should ever have. Now he’s out of that business and settling into the simple life in his small hometown. Taylor Elliott is Trouble, and she likes it that way. And seeing Lucky again? Well, he’s been her dirty little secret for the past few years and everyone knows that secrets in a small town are almost impossible to keep. But Taylor has bigger problems on her plate. And right now the only thing standing between Trouble and disaster is a hottie named Lucky…
My Review:
This is the second book in the series, but I read it without reading the first and it stood alone fine. This was a great romance book. It was really sweet. I loved that we learned so much about their past and their past relationship. It really helped make the present so much sweeter.
There was some mystery and a little suspense in the book as well. It was not too much, but it definitely kept the book interesting. I thought it was done really well.
I also loved all of the secondary characters in the book. There were a lot of them, but I felt like they were all really well developed. I found myself being just as interested in their lives as I was in the main characters’ lives. I really enjoyed this book, and read it in one day. I would definitely recommend it.
