Swoon is a brother’s best friend, childhood friends to lovers romance. It can be read as a complete standalone, but takes place in the same universe that most of Lauren Rowe’s books do. I love jumping back into this world that Lauren Rowe has created, and getting to see some of my favorite characters. Lauren Rowe always does an amazing job at making the stories overlap too. Parts of this book take place during parts of other books. You don’t need to know this, but it’s fun as a fan of her books.

This book has all of the chemistry that a typical Lauren Rowe book does, and I loved it! Both Amy and Colin have loved each other for years. Colin doesn’t really realize that he loves her as more than just his “little sister,” and this is the main conflict in the book. He is struggling with how to navigate the fact that they now have great chemistry along with the fact that he feels like Amy’s brother would not be okay with them getting together.

The only thing that I disliked about this book was it seemed to be less romantic and more sex-focused than some of her other books. Along with this, when Colin finally realized he was jealous and wanted Amy, he was all in very quickly. All in all, this was a fun read!
